About Draconibus
Position from Urtisia: 1
Population: <500k Star Dragons Moons: Aqua, Glaciem, Ignis, Terra The name Draconibus is derived from the old Latin phrase 'Mudi a Draconibus' which means 'The World of Dragons'. The planet was named so after discovery, and the native animals were the famous Star Dragons. Billions flock to Draconibus every 5 years to see the iconic dragons in their full glory, which is why Draconibus seems so sparse the rest of the time, as the planet has been adapted to facilitate up to 300 times its natural population. It was never colonised by any other race as humanity discovered the Star Dragons as a peaceful species, so their planet was conserved. The dragons are not unique to Draconibus, but the species goes to the planet every half decade to breed, however the planet is closed to non-native citizens during breeding months in order to preserve the natural life cycle of the Star Dragons. |
