About Aerns
Planet of Origin: Aerea
Current Domain: Kroni Major
Average Lifespan: 277 years
Population: 56m
Description: Aerns were a very advanced race who thrived on their home planet, developing technology like nowhere else in the solar system. After the Great War, Aerns moved to Kroni Major to seek refuge. Male Aerns are extremely distinguishable from females, as they tend to be slightly smaller and their skin changes colour depending on the hormones in the blood. Female Aerns are less agile than males, but are capable of tolerating much more physical strain. Unlike the males, female Aerns' skin stays the same greyish-flesh colour. Aerns are well adapted to cold environments, but do not cope well with areas with temperatures more than 3 degrees above their body temperature, as they have a primitive homeostasis system.

About Arteckians
Planet of Origin: Arteck
Current Domain: (None)
Average Lifespan: 304 years
Population: 2
Description: The last surviving Arteckians are both male, so there is no chance of the population being replenished. Arteckians were the oldest race in the solar system but despite their head start, they were primitive compared to the technology of the Aerns. Arteckians are humanoid, they share similar features to humans, but are slightly different. Male Arteckians are extremely tolerant of adversity and pain, however they are quick to change mindset. Female Arteckians were much smaller than males, and so the males would spend their lives defending their family and building stronger homes for them to survive in the harsh weather of Arteck. Arteckians are adapted to survive in many environments, but have never been tested thoroughly as there are not enough left to test on. It is said that they lived so long thanks to the ability to regenerate tissue at an extreme rate. This is what inspired scientists to create New Humans. The DNA of Arteckians is so precious, that one amino acid is worth more than the entire land mass of Fu-Sang 5!

About Dwarves
Planet of Origin: K'Athena
Current Domain: K'Athena, Utopia, Kroni Major
Average Lifespan: 72 years
Population: 13.6bn
Description: Dwarves are the smallest humanoid sentient race in the solar system as their average height is around 3 and a half feet. The tallest dwarf on record just scraped 5 feet. Dwarves live for about 130 years and will usually stop everything to prepare a funeral for a lost loved one or for a lost dwarf working the same mine. Dwarves start work as young as 6 years old and will continue until death. Dwarves conceive at the age of 15 onwards, as their lives are so short. It is dwarven tradition to conceive in the month of December, allowing the baby to born 4 to 5 months later in April or May.

About Half-Beings
Planet of Origin: Fu-Sang 5
Current Domain: Kroni Minor, K'Athena, Utopia, New Earth, Kroni Major, Fu-Sang 5
Average Lifespan: 64 years
Population: 9bn
Description: Half-Beings are the result of an experiment carried out by Shaman Kagne, as an attempt to create new wizards from humans. He showed the 200 or so experimentees the flux dimension but the humans were not able to control the power that was given to them, and the flux overpowered them and made their bodies decay. Kagne released the failed experimentees back into the world of Fu-Sang 5 and they began to live the rest of their lives there. The newly created Half-Beings actually grew stronger after being released, and they managed to slow the decomposition of their bodies. Some are even able to flick between the standard dimension and the flux dimension.

About Humans
Planet of Origin: Earth (the Solar System)
Current Domain: Kroni Minor, K'Athena, Utopia, New Earth, Kroni Major, Fu-Sang 5
Average Lifespan: 148 years
Population: 37.5bn
Description: Averaging about 6 feet in height, humans live to about 93 years old. As they have one of the shortest lifespans in the solar system, humans have an extreme desire to accomplish as much as possible within their individual lives. This has led to humans being one of the most (if not the most) prosperous races in the solar system. Humans, unlike other races, come in different sizes and shapes regardless of age or gender. This means that humans can use each other's physical differences to their advantage, allowing smaller humans to work in the mines and larger, more muscular humans to be warriors. Mankind also has an extensive memory and ability to empathise with almost anything, be it living or not. These complex beings often form complicated ideas which cause confusion, anger and upset; however, they can also adapt and learn astonishingly numerous skills (some have even become honorary wizards thanks to their knowledge of magic!)

About New Humans
Planet of Origin: Utopia
Current Domain: Utopia, New Earth, Fu-Sang 5
Average Lifespan: 242 years
Population: 38.2bn
Description: Much more advanced than humans, New Humans were created by scientists of the Science Corporation on Utopia. New Humans are basically "humans with a few thousand years of evolution added on," as stated by Kathia Sonez, head of SCORPION. They have enhanced sensory reflexes, are more agile, stronger, smarter and faster. They also have, thanks to the environment they were developed in, a sixth sense. This sixth sense allows them to detect flux around them, which can be useful when dealing with sorcerers.

About Ocean Horses
Planet of Origin: Utopia
Current Domain: Utopia
Average Lifespan: 34 years
Population: 53m
Description: Ocean Horses are rarely seen, as the waters of Utopia are so scarcely visited. However, they do exist in quite large numbers and tend to roam the sea in large groups, hunting smaller wildlife. It is not known what their predator is, but it is a popular myth on Utopia that there are giant sea monsters that hunt Ocean Horses. This would be near impossible, as Ocean Horses can grow up to 9 feet long and are quite muscular. They don't live long in comparison to some other species in the solar system, but they live long enough to give birth to up to 2-3 children and raise them until they can have children themselves.

About River Horses
Planet of Origin: Utopia
Current Domain: Utopia
Average Lifespan: 28 years
Population: 60m
Description: River horses are slightly more common than the famous Ocean Horses, but it is still rare that they are used commercially or by the public. They are mostly used by soldiers to tackled swampy and heavily wetland-based terrain. They are unique to Utopia as they are protected by the Utopian Animal Society, who won't allow the species to be traded or exported to other planets. They also have very strict breeding programs and it is a very hard job looking after river horses. The largest captive collections are in the Knightstown Armoury, Astillica and the Amphibious Mammal Sanctuary, Farlem. The horses were used in the trade industry for transporting materials over land which was too swampy to build on, but after their numbers started declining due to a lack of breeding, the Animal Society made restrictions on what they can be used for.

About Skinchangers
Planet of Origin: Arteck / Aerea
Current Domain: (Unknown)
Population: (Unknown)
Average Lifespan: (Unknown)
Description: Evolutionarily adapted to be the most deceptive and stealthy species in the solar system, it is hard to document the Skinchangers. We only know that they exist because one has been experimented on by OMNI. Other than this, little is known about the species other than they can take the form of any living animal, at any point. It is also thought that each skinchanger has a different natural form, though this is disputed as some believe that they have no natural form.

About Star Dragons
Planet of Origin: Draconibus
Current Domain: Draconibus, Kroni Minor
Average Lifespan: 600-700 years
Population: 500m
Description: Averaging 10 feet in height and 20 feet in length, Star Dragons are by far the biggest species in the entire solar system! Depending on their race, they can be different in appearance, but they all flock to Draconibus (if they are not there already) to breed once every 5 years. About a year and a half later, billions of tourists fly to Draconibus to see the new babies; the planet is closed to outside visitors during the breeding months so as not to disturb the dragons. There are 7 main types of dragon (Terran, Ignita, Frosten, Hydran, Stellar, Ethereal, Aureate), but there are hundreds of different crossbreeds! The rarest is a crossbreed between Ignita, Frosten and Aureate. It is called the Raro dragon. The most common is the Stellar type (the ones first seen by humanity): they have dark blue scales which shimmer in the starlight, which is why Star Dragons are named so.

About Wizards
Planet of Origin: Kroni Major
Current Domain: Kroni Major, Kroni Minor, Utopia, Fu-Sang 5
Average Lifespan: 427 years
Population: 15.2bn
Description: Wizards average about 7 feet in height, and live much longer than any other race in Urtisia. They age much slower, about a third of the speed of humans and so don't reach adulthood until about the age of 60 years. This is a possible explanation for why wizards are so wise. Another theory is that wizards' learning is about 1.5x times that of humans, so as children they tend to know more than the average human adult. However, wizards are physically inferior to most other races in the solar system, so their only defence is their sorcery and the fact that they are born with the trait to perform magic, unlike any other race in the solar system. It is not known whether or not wizards are considered 'evil' as they seem to help Humans, New Humans and Aerns in their development. However, they do seem to have different morals to most races as they act strangely when faced with critical situations. Despite the mystery surrounding the wizards, they are not questioned by the other races as they have been around longest and are the wisest, but other races usually turn to them for help and advice.
